Container is a fine-arts press and publisher of contemporary art.
Our goal is to enable the circulation and collection of limited-edition artwork by contemporary artists, countering the effect and influence of engineered algorithms on how culture is disseminated in the 21st century.
Following Library of Congress archival standards, every element of work published by Container prioritizes an experience with tangible media intended to be lived with and experienced over long durations of time.
Every edition published by Container is numbered and marked by the press in collaboration with the participating artists ensuring quality and authenticity.
Collectors can acquire prints either through a subscription, receiving a set number of prints over 12 months, or by ordering individual prints.
Prints are curated seasonally and are limited in availability.
Prints are delivered in archival folios designed for preservation and on-shelf display, and are ready to frame with windowed 4ply archival mat board.
